What Is Infertility
Infertility is defined as the inability to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse (or 6 months for women over 35). It affects approximately 1 in 6 couples worldwide — making it one of the most common medical conditions globally.
Infertility can affect both men and women equally and may have multiple contributing causes. The good news: with advanced reproductive technology and expert care, the majority of couples can achieve a successful pregnancy.
At IVF CAFE Clinic, we begin every patient journey with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation — identifying the precise cause of infertility so we can design the most effective, personalised treatment plan.

Causes
Infertility has many possible causes. Identifying the underlying reason is the first and most important step toward effective treatment.
A hormonal disorder causing irregular ovulation or anovulation, the most common cause of female infertility.
Caused by pelvic infections, previous surgeries, or endometriosis — prevents eggs from reaching the uterus.
Uterine tissue growing outside the uterus causes inflammation, scarring, and interference with egg fertilization.
Low egg quantity or quality due to age, genetics, or previous medical treatments reduces fertility potential.
Fibroids, polyps, or structural defects of the uterus can prevent embryo implantation or cause recurrent loss.
Disruptions in FSH, LH, prolactin, or thyroid hormones can impair ovulation and reproductive function.
The ovaries stop functioning normally before age 40, reducing hormone production and fertility.
Two or more consecutive miscarriages often indicate chromosomal, uterine, or hormonal underlying causes.
Diagnosis
Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of successful treatment. Our clinic uses a comprehensive panel of investigations to identify every possible contributing factor.

FemaleTreatments
We offer the full spectrum of assisted reproductive treatments — from first-line therapies to the most advanced procedures available in India.

IVF is the most successful fertility treatment available. Eggs are retrieved from the ovaries, fertilized with sperm in our laboratory, and the resulting embryo is transferred into the uterus.
Ideal For

A single sperm is injected directly into a mature egg under high magnification — the gold standard treatment for severe male factor infertility.

Processed, washed sperm is placed directly into the uterus at the time of ovulation, reducing the distance sperm must travel to fertilize an egg.
Ideal For

Eggs are retrieved, frozen using vitrification, and stored for future use — preserving your fertility at its current state for whenever you are ready.
Ideal For

Embryos are biopsied and tested for chromosomal or genetic abnormalities before transfer, selecting only the healthiest embryos to improve success rates.
Ideal For

Sperm is surgically retrieved directly from testicular tissue for men with azoospermia. The retrieved sperm is used in ICSI to achieve fertilization.
